The back of this small enclosed garden sloped dramatically upwards; great for sledging in the winter, but it was disconcerting to open the front door and look straight through to a ‘wall’ of grass at the end of the plot.
Lawns are a fantastic, cost effective way of covering large areas of ground. If well cared for they look fantastic, feel great between your toes and provide a breathing space of calming monotone green that links areas of the garden
The Brief This modest sized estate garden was an impersonal blank canvas. The brief was to create a private contemporary garden for entertaining with raised planting, a relaxed seating area, a dining area and space for a large Pizza Oven
